Your body is a temple,
so you must adorn the walls.
How to choose a tattoo?
1.
Are tattoos for you?
Tattoos are a long term, lifetime commitment, so it is important for you to make sure that this is something you really want. Can you see it on your body forever?
2.
Placement is important
The size, placement, and orientation are equally as important as the quality of the tattoo itself. Make sure you don't go too small to effect readability, or too large to prevent wrapping.
3.
Subject matter
For a first tattoo, it is a common practice to pick a meaningful design. If you have ideas but don't know how to put them together, an artist would create something original for you.
4.
Schedule a consultation
Look through our website and each artist's portfolio, and if you are unsure of which artist is for you, then take our Victory Artist Questionnaire. This will help you find an artist that fits your style. Now it is time to make a consultation with your chosen artist. You may do this at the bottom of this page, or on their individual portfolio page.
5.
Pre Tattoo
On the day before your tattoo appointment try to relax. Please do not have any alcohol or take any anti-inflammatory as this will increase bleeding. Try to have a good nights rest, eat a good breakfast the day of, and bring a sugary beverage with you to your appointment. Please tell the artist if you have a history of fainting or lightheadedness.
P.S.
If you feel uncomfortable for any reason, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We understand getting a tattoo can be scary and we will try to make this a virtually painless experience.

— Friedrich ( Yelp Review )The shop itself has a very laidback and family living room feel. There's artwork hanging all around by the different artists and the work benches are clean and comfortable.
— Eric ( Yelp Review )Everyone has a definition for 'artist' Vic Tamian is mine (other than myself of course). There's no words for her amazing work other than she's trustworthy, amazing, and perfect with her art. So far she's done 6 out of my 13 tattoos and you best believe I'm going to have her do more. Who knows? I might even let her do a mystery tattoo on me of her choosing. That's how trustworthy she is.
— Jonathan ( Yelp Review )I cannot express how beyond pleased and happy I am with my experience here. I just received my first tattoo here today; any other work I want will definitely be done here….Right as I walked in, i was warmly greeted and situated to discuss what I wanted to get done. She had it printed and ready to go in 30-40 minutes, it was pretty quickly and was perfect. As this was my first tattoo, Vic was considerate, friendly, professional, informative, and accommodating.
— Tom ( Yelp Review )The only shop I will trust. Hands down. Everyone is super friendly and super supportive of first timers. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed and you honestly can't ask for a better price point. I honesty can't wait to go back. I drive over fifty miles to get to this shop, and they know how to make the tolls and GSP worthwhile.
— Robert ( Google )Vic and her team made my tattoo experience this week amazing. Vic and I talked about what kind of Razzouk tattoo would work best with what I currently have. She asked me a bunch of questions, and gave me a ton of options. She was efficient, professional, and a perfectionist. Once you are in her chair you can tell that she is extremely passionate about her art form. Victory Art and Tattoo is one of the best out there. Thank you so much for this amazing experience.
